James Glen from Lochgelly.org.uk was visiting the wind-farm development near Little Raith Farm on the 25th of August 2012, when this funnel cloud started to form around 4:30pm.

The images were captured halfway between Mossmorran and South Street on the Little Raith Wind Farm site, looking towards Cowdenbeath.

This summer has been a particularly active season for storms, not only in Fife, but across the UK as a whole.

I have provided a full write-up explaining the phenomenon of funnel clouds to James, which he has been published on the Lochgelly.org.uk website.
